Is it complex or are you complacent?

A lot of things in life are complex.

Figuring out what you can recycle, for example? Genuinely baffling.

But murder isn’t complex. It’s clear to see, name and challenge.

Saying that “the situation is complex” or that there are “nuances” is an easy way to remain complacent.
